Spring Swap!

I received my package from Lisa yesterday, and it was chock full of fabulous goodies! She must have read my mind to know that I have been craving some new, pretty yarn- look at the 3 skeins of awesome Noro! I think they are destined to become a springtime shawl for me She also include an awesome teacup candle that she made herself! I have this burning on my counter right now, I love it! There is also yummy handmade lip balm, a package of Miss Saigon iris bulbs (so pretty!), a Knit Simple magazine, glass magnets, a pretty pink shade of nail polish, 3 Luna bars and a bag of jellybeans! Springtime swap!

Wow, I haven’t used my personal blog in quite a while! I usually do family updates and whatnot on Facebook now, and I blog about my coupon deals at my other blog (singlemamasavings.blogspot.com). I’m hoping this still allows me to participate in this cool swap hosted by Shortmama! The basis is I put together a box full of my favorite things and send it to my partner, and she does the same! Sounds like a great time to me

Target Trip

Ran to Target with Mom today and picked up a few great deals! There is a $4.00 coupon available online for any Hungry Hungry Hippos game (also lists a few other games), you can use it on the travel size version which only costs $4.99 at Target! Also, Glade Scented Oil candles in the pretty tins are on sale for $1.66, and many of them have $1.50 off coupons right inside! Can’t beat $0.16 for a great smelling candle! My total for this purchase was only $2.24, and $0.77 of that was tax!! Nice The HHH game will be put aside for a Christmas present for one of the kiddos, and the candles are burning as we speak….ahh, I love the smell of clean linen candles!
